goodbye knoxville, hello nyc!

We left at 10:30 this morning to head to NYC. I was sad to leave Matt, but we had a great breakfast at Cracker Barrel this morning. There really isn't anything better than quality car time with Janie and Steve. Dad insisited on stopping in Lexington, KY so we could go by the Sigma Nu headquarters. We, of course, got a picture! He is also in love with my new car, which, who isn't? I read the entire manual at the beginning of the trip and then wished I would have saved some to read later on. Mom is learning how to use an FM transmitter, which makes for a lot of static and not much music. Other than the boredom, I hate long trips because all you do is eat all day. After the Mexican food at lunch and late afternoon Starbucks, i feel like I need to run a marathon! One thing I'm really happy about is the work out room in my dorm. Especially since we just ate at, you guessed it, Cracker Barrel. That's right, my second time today. Yikes! I think we are going to find a hotel a little closer to the city, since I don't check in to my dorm until tomorrow at noon. My parents are staying until Tuesday so that they can help me get situated, which I am very thankful for. Also, SUPER excited about my roommate, Kathryn arriving on Monday and starting work on Wednesday. Let's hope the move in process goes smoothly tomorrow!
